Occassionally, the underlying datasource of a Universe is changed. Quite often new columns are added to tables.
In order to get the Universe to "see" the new fields - you have to perform a refresh.
In this example, I have added a field named YearMonthCH to the table SunsetHill_Accounting_Expenses - however, in the Universe designer, the new field does not appear:
In order to have the Universe recognize this new field, from the main menu select View/Refresh
When prompted to update "Outdated Tables", select OK.
After the refresh, the new field appears in Designer:
